I figured I'd give you all a sneak peak as Sammy's nursery takes shape. Kevin is hanging the chair railing today. I love it! The chandelier came yesterday and I *cannot wait* for that finishing touch to be installed. I continue to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming. Are we really preparing a nursery!?
I can't wait to see the finished room!
ReplyDeleteMe too! It's already progressed much further than the photo above! I'll post another picture when it's a little closer to completion. It's just beautiful! Kevin is amazing!
DeleteLooks awesome!

ReplyDeleteThanks! I sure hope so! :)
DeleteI can't wait to see it all done!
ReplyDeleteI thought I would share a few of these free printables that I know would look amazing in there. My girls have them in their room. Best part you can print them at home as they are 8x10

We used the Ribba frames from ikea. I get a lot of comments from people when they see them hanging on the wall.

DeleteI am so glad you shared these links! I hadn't even thought about using online printables but this is exactly the look I'm going for! I'll be doing this for sure! Thanks again!
I haven't commented to you since hearing your wonderful news! I have very special feelings for you in my heart because of the relationship that might have been. I watch your struggles and blessings unfold and rejoice and cry and pray for you as if you were my own, completely without your knowledge, and despite the fact that we've never met. I can't explain it. It is what it is. And I LOVE this glimpse of "Daddy Love'! That was the first thing that slammed me when I opened your blog today. The care and quality of his work going on in her room. You are one lucky girl. Not only for this baby to come, but especially for the young husband who stands strong, beside you when your heart is breaking, beside you when you are a hormonal mess, beside you as you celebrate this miracle. There he is.... preparing a beautiful place for his child in this world. What a lucky, lucky baby to have you both.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet thing to say. I read this on my phone on my way to work and it made me tear up. I even texted your comment to Kevin and he was deeply touched as well. You are such a sweetheart praying for us and following along. Thank you for commenting and being so kind!
DeleteGorgeous! Love the grey and the chair rail!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! It's coming along!
DeleteIt looks great already! Love the chair rail!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm excited about it too!
Deletewill you share what paint color that is? I love it!!
ReplyDeleteSure! It's Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore. http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/reverepewter But you can go to Home Depot and say you want that color from Benjamin Moore in any of their Behr paints. We love Behr's ultra premium plus which is what we used! It has the primer built in and has incredible coverage. I'll warn you though, when this color is wet, it looks brown/tan but it dries into this beautiful neutral grey. I've never seen such a stark difference between wet/dry paint before - so don't let the wet color alarm you! I hope you like it! :)
DeleteIt's so exciting to put together the nursery!
