This crazy lady tests at four days past transfer

Somehow in this wacky brain of mine, I rationalized that yesterday (morning even!) wasn't too early to test (4dp6dt) even though logically I knew it was positively insane and way too early.

So you can imagine my absolute shock when a second line appeared.

Oh. My. Gosh. OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH.

This morning a FRER showed positive within the three minute testing window, which never happened last time.

I'm pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no idea if both embryos implanted, or if one (and which one) but I am over the moon. I have renewed hope because of this pregnancy producing such an early positive. Could both twiblings actually be growing in there? Time will tell!

You know what else is crazy? Austin has snow in the forecast tonight which never happens. We get snow once every four years or so in January or February, but it's NEVER ever this early on in the year. I am taking it as a beautiful honor to my beautiful snowflakes!

Beta is scheduled for 12/2/13 which will be 13dp6dt.

Please, OH PLEASE let these babies stick around this time!

  5. This is fantastic news! Do you mind me asking if your blasts were frozen on day 5 or day 6? I have a fet coming up with 2-3 day 6 expanded blasts and I am worried because I thought they were supposed to be expanded by day 5. I have been following your story and seeing your beautiful positive has renewed my faith that maybes day 6 blasts could make it. Were your blasts hatching at all at time of transfer? Mine are not hatching at this point. Your blog as been such an inspiration to me as I have also had 2 miscarriages. Praying for your sticky beans!!

Thank you. It means so much to have people I don't even know sending up a prayer for us. Congrats on your pregnancy! I really hope I have the same outcome. Good luck with labor and delivery... I wish you nothing but joy this holiday season as you hold your LO in your arms!

    5. Jenn, these were both Day 6. And one of them wasn't even supposed to survive thaw because it had been frozen as a day one around 2003, then thawed and grown to day 6 in 2006, and then thawed again last week. But it made it! Both of them were not hatching yet. I have lots of hope for you!!! Keep me posted and good luck!

  23. Liz, I stumbled on your blog this summer. My husband and I just experienced 2 failed ivfs and are on our clinics waiting list for donor embryos.... Hopefully in January! Just wanted you to know that you have given me hope, and even though we have never met, I am so happy for you! Prayers for you!

I started a facebook group for people on the path to embryo donation/adoption and you may find some wonderful support if you join. It's very active and has over 100 members. It's totally secret so no one will know that you are a member, or see anything that you post. 26. I tested on day four of both my ivf cycles and got frer tests similar in color to these, both were my miracle babies. Can't wait to find out your betas. Just incase you have high betas, I had my first one at 10dp5dt over 6000 and it was a single baby, my second baby was over 4000 and also single. I was sure I was having twins! Goes to show betas can be tricky!
