So you can imagine my absolute shock when a second line appeared.
Oh. My. Gosh. OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH.
This morning a FRER showed positive within the three minute testing window, which never happened last time.
I'm pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have no idea if both embryos implanted, or if one (and which one) but I am over the moon. I have renewed hope because of this pregnancy producing such an early positive. Could both twiblings actually be growing in there? Time will tell!
You know what else is crazy? Austin has snow in the forecast tonight which never happens. We get snow once every four years or so in January or February, but it's NEVER ever this early on in the year. I am taking it as a beautiful honor to my beautiful snowflakes!
Beta is scheduled for 12/2/13 which will be 13dp6dt.
Please, OH PLEASE let these babies stick around this time!
That is a nice dark positive for this DPT, AWESOME! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm excited at how dark it is! It's making me feel great!!
DeleteWow.What wonderful news!!Praying for all and the baby or babies.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, barb!
DeleteYayayayayay! My only sticky-sticky bean (the one who is kicking me right now) showed up at 5dp5dt, so right where you are! Keeping everything crossed!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! Congrats on your sticky-sticky bean! (so cute!!)
DeleteWonderful!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThat is wonderful!! Big fingers crossed for you x
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
DeleteThis is fantastic news! Do you mind me asking if your blasts were frozen on day 5 or day 6? I have a fet coming up with 2-3 day 6 expanded blasts and I am worried because I thought they were supposed to be expanded by day 5. I have been following your story and seeing your beautiful positive has renewed my faith that maybes day 6 blasts could make it. Were your blasts hatching at all at time of transfer? Mine are not hatching at this point. Your blog as been such an inspiration to me as I have also had 2 miscarriages. Praying for your sticky beans!!
ReplyDeleteJenn, just thought I'd let you know that I am currently 29 weeks pregnant with twins from an FET using 6 day blastocysts.
DeleteAmber... Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to me. I appreciate your kindness. Your post brought tears to my eyes. Congrats on your twins. That is amazing news. Were your blasts just expanded by day 6? Between your news and Liz"s... I am hoping God will bring me a miracle to post about too. So exited for both you and Liz! Thanks again!
DeleteThought I would also chime in here and say I am 37 weeks along with one healthy baby from an FET with 2 six day blasts. I hope this gives you even more hope. I'm praying for your FET. -Kelly
DeleteKelly,
DeleteThank you. It means so much to have people I don't even know sending up a prayer for us. Congrats on your pregnancy! I really hope I have the same outcome. Good luck with labor and delivery... I wish you nothing but joy this holiday season as you hold your LO in your arms!
Jenn, these were both Day 6. And one of them wasn't even supposed to survive thaw because it had been frozen as a day one around 2003, then thawed and grown to day 6 in 2006, and then thawed again last week. But it made it! Both of them were not hatching yet. I have lots of hope for you!!! Keep me posted and good luck!
DeleteLiz, thank you for your reassuring words. I would love to send you an email sometime. Let me know if there is a way for me to contact you. As I said, your blog has been very important to me for some time. I hope... I hope... That my little snow babies will be in my arms in time, as well. All the best with your new pregnancy! I will be checking often for updates!

DeleteLiz, I stumbled on your blog this summer. My husband and I just experienced 2 failed ivfs and are on our clinics waiting list for donor embryos.... Hopefully in January! Just wanted you to know that you have given me hope, and even though we have never met, I am so happy for you! Prayers for you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet thing to say! I am very sorry about your failed cycles, but I really hope that your donor embryos bring you your baby. I started a facebook group for people on the path to embryo donation/adoption and you may find some wonderful support if you join. It's very active and has over 100 members. It's totally secret so no one will know that you are a member, or see anything that you post. If you're interested in joining, send me an email at wishingonasnowflake@gmail.com Thanks for the prayers and good luck!
DeleteCongrats!!! Such wonderful news!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carrie!
DeleteYes!! Amazing news!! Keep growing baby!! (Or babies! <3 )
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteI tested on day four of both my ivf cycles and got frer tests similar in color to these, both were my miracle babies. Can't wait to find out your betas. Just incase you have high betas, I had my first one at 10dp5dt over 6000 and it was a single baby, my second baby was over 4000 and also single. I was sure I was having twins! Goes to show betas can be tricky!
ReplyDeleteThis FRER was actually 5dp6dt. :) It could go either way, of course but I'm excited for either outcome! Fingers crossed! :)
DeleteBig congrats! I have a feeling this is your miracle baby or babies!
DeleteThanks so much! I sure hope you're right! :)
DeleteAaaaaaugh!

DeleteCongratulations!!! If you were hoping for twins, I hope it is!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!! I'll take whatever God has in store, but yes - I think twins would be amazing!!
DeleteBig congrats!
ReplyDeleteHuge congratulations! I have been following your blog for a while and this is just wonderful to hear. Keeping my fingers crossed for good rising betas to come.
